Coverking was the dream project of an Industrial and Electrical Engineer who had worked for decades in the Aerospace Defense Industry of Southern California. He established the company in 1986 and Coverking has since then making waves in the automotive cover and accessory market across the world.

Coverking has been expanding ever since, with its main manufacturing unit still being in Southern California. The secret of Coverking’s success is not only the latest technology that it uses and the innovations, but also the zeal to turn every customer in to a satisfied customer. Coverking brought a revolution in the automotive accessories industries by applying the decades of knowledge and experience gained by its owner in the Aerospace Defense industry. The automotive covering industry back then was a relatively backward cut-and-sew industry – but Coverking soon changed all that.

The use of Advanced CAD/CAM Systems, the latest technologies and the latest machines revolutionized the Dash Cover market. At that time, the production time was 30 days, but with the innovations brought in, it could be reduced to just 1 day. And the final product was also better. Process automation made this dream a reality - better quality products at a lesser cost and a quicker output too. Competitors had to take notice and the customers were thrilled too.
